“That’s strange.” Twilight said as she looked at a bright purple portal that appeared in her bedroom. “I don’t think I did anything to create that.”
She walked around it, and it looked normal for a portal. Where did it lead to? She had to find out.
Using her horn, she wrote a quick note to Spike about where she was going. After leaving it on the bed, she stepped through the portal.
And found herself in a. . .park. It looked like one in Sunset’s world, though the colors here were more washed out. A quick glance over her shoulder told her that the portal was still there.
And just like in Sunset’s world, she only had two legs. Twilight walked over to a nearby fountain to get a closer look at herself. Her body was much like the human one she had in Sunset’s world, but her face strangely stayed the same. It was a bit odd seeing her pony face on top of a human body, but she could get used to it.
“Hopefully there is someone nearby that can explain some of this.”
Walking through a park, she spotted a very tall blue jay raking leaves. He was grumbling about a Rigby being on a date with an Eileen, and leaving him to do all the work.
“Excuse me, what world is this?” She asked.
“Um, Earth?” The blue jay turned to her and titled his head.
“What world are you from?” he asked.
“Equestria.”
“Never heard of it.”
“I can take you there to visit. The portal didn’t disappear.”
“That’d be sweet, but if I go on an adventure before I finish raking the leaves my boss is going to kill me.”
“Oh, then let me help.” With her horn, she put the rest of the leaves in a pile.
“There. Ready to go?”
“Yeah.” He tossed the rake aside and started following her back to the portal.
“Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. I’m Twilight Sparkle, Princess of Friendship.”
“I’m Mordecai, Prince of. . .uh. . .video games.”
Twilight chuckled. “Well Prince Mordecai, there’s a couple of arcade games in Ponyville you can try out.”
“Cool. I know a certain someone who can use a lesson in Friendship here. Maybe you can help him out after we get back.”
“Sounds great.”
