little bunny blue

Summary:

Walking through the house, Sanghyuk took quick glances at all of the doors and cameras scattered around, all of the locks intact and the red lights of the cameras on. One of Chanhee’s fluffy blankets was spread across the sofa, a pack of chocolate chip cookies was left open on the kitchen counter, and one of the boy’s plushies laid face-down on the stairs.

Sanghyuk was overjoyed at the sight. His bunny had finally gotten comfortable.

Work Text:

Sanghyuk closed the door behind him, slipping off his dress shoes. The house was quiet. Chanhee was most likely taking a nap, since the TV wasn't going and he couldn't hear the fan in the bathroom.

"Bunny, I'm home!" Sanghyuk called, receiving no response. That confirmed it. His doll was most likely sleeping. He smiled to himself, he always loved seeing how adorable Chanhee was as he slept.

As he slowly pushed open the door to Chanhee’s room, he couldn’t help but coo at the sight.

The blinds were down, the only light in the room coming from the baby blue cloud lamp on the nightstand, casting a soft glow on the boy’s features.

Chanhee himself was buried in fluffy blue and white blankets, a mountain of plushies at his feet. His arms and legs were wrapped around a big baby blue teddy bear, one that was exactly the size of Sanghyuk. Chanhee needed cuddles that Sanghyuk couldn’t always provide, so the bear was his replacement.

Sanghyuk could see the collar of a too-big dress shirt on the boy peeking out of the blanket, he loved when Chanhee wore his clothing. His fluffy hair was fanned out against the pillow, a thin collar made of baby blue leather sat against his neck, and, to Sanghyuk’s delight, two clip-in bunny ears were flopped over his face.

“Pretty bunny, it’s time to wake up.” Sanghyuk whispered, crouching down next to the plush bed and resting his palm on the boy’s hip bone.

Chanhee grumbled, rubbing his eyes drowsily.

“Oppa…”

The boy’s sleepy murmur made Sanghyuk immediately smother him in kisses, Chanhee kicking his feet and squealing in delight. Feeling the way his lover held onto him, Sanghyuk swelled up with pride at being Chanhee’s protector and joy.

“Did you have a good day, bunny?” The boy looked up at his lover and nodded, the clip-in bunny ears flopping around with the movement.

“I did! What about you, oppa?” Even though Sanghyuk had told Chanhee to call him that, it still made his heart skip a beat every time he heard the sweet sound of the word from Chanhee’s lips.

“My day could have been better, but I’m happy now that I have you, doll.” Chanhee preened at the pet name and nuzzled his face into Sanghyuk’s muscular chest. “Why don’t I start on dinner, you must be hungry.”

Sanghyuk hoisted the boy into his arms and carried him effortlessly through the luxurious house and into the kitchen.

Plopping Chanhee down on one of the chairs at the counter, Sanghyuk watched him fidget through the corner of his eye as he started to prepare to make japchae.

“Oppa, could I go watch tv?”

“Sure. Dinner should be ready in about thirty minutes.”

Chanhee got up from the chair, his steps making the floorboards creak (as they were supposed to.) He pecked Sanghyuk on the cheek as a thank you, the man waiting until Chanhee turned his back to grab him roughly by the waist and pull him into a kiss. The boy squeaked in surprise when Sanghyuk hoisted him up onto the counter, his lover standing between his spread legs.

A gasp fell from the boy’s lips as he felt Sanghyuk’s teeth graze his neck, a shudder running up his spine at the feeling of his lover’s large, calloused hands slipping underneath the oversized button up he was wearing.

And all of a sudden, it was over.

Chanhee was plopped back down on the floor and Sanghyuk went back to chopping up beef like nothing happened.

The boy whined and tried to get Sanghyuk’s attention again, but the other male was enjoying seeing his little boyfriend strive for affection.

Eventually, Chanhee just padded away, grumbling cutely about how bad of an oppa Sanghyuk was.

The man in question just shook his head and went back to the task at hand, hearing Chanhee complain to one of his bunny plushies on the sofa about Sanghyuk before the telltale sound of the tv filled the room.

“Turn on one of your animes, baby boy.”

“I will, I just wanna see if Taemin’s promoting on any shows…”

Sanghyuk chuckled to himself, listening intently as Chanhee flipped through channels. He had to make sure his baby didn’t see something he shouldn’t.

“Add the cayenne, garlic, and clo-“

“Improve your health with this on-“

“-he search is still ongoing for Kang Chanhee, mayor Kang’s son, who went missing just two months ago. Law enforcement is still searching for him by infiltrating the city mob scene, but leads have not been found. The ransom note received by mayor Kang has unfortunately not led to the return of the nineteen year-old. If you have any information relating to Kang Chanhee’s whereabouts…”

Sanghyuk saw red.

“Turn that off, now!” He shouted, watching the boy jump and the remote clatter against the floor.

Chanhee should not have seen that news broadcast. If all of Sanghyuk’s work on breaking Chanhee in was gone because of that one piece of news…

He couldn’t guarantee that the boy would be unscathed tomorrow.

Chanhee was breathing heavily, scrambling away from Sanghyuk standing over him. His clip in bunny ears had fallen out of his hair, his blue stockings rolled down, and distraught was clear on his face.

“Bunny, why don’t you come into the kitchen? Dinner’s almost ready.”

Chanhee shook his head, kicking and squirming as Sanghyuk approached. “Get away from me! I’m… That was me! Did you… Did you kidnap me?!”

“Bunny, don’t make me restrain you. Be good.” Sanghyuk attempted to pet the boy’s hair to soothe him, Chanhee kicking him away and raising the man’s anger.

He would have to restrain Chanhee. He hated punishing his bunny, but this disobedience needed to be cured at once.

He threw himself onto the boy, pining his legs down with one strong thigh, and keeping a death grip on Chanhee’s wrists.

Eventually he would stop struggling, and would be good again, hopefully.

Sanghyuk was too hopeful.

“Get off of me! I’m n-not your bunny! You’re a psycho!”

That comment turned Sanghyuk feral.

Using his sheer strength, he let go of one of the boy’s wrists, took his weight off of Chanhee’s body, grabbed him by the hair, and threw him across the room.

“I have to be mean, then. I don’t want to be mean, bunny. I want to treat you well.” Sanghyuk growled, placing his foot firmly on the boy’s chest, stopping him from getting up.

“I’m not… your bunny.” Chanhee coughed out, getting a kick to the side in response. He tried to crawl away, only for Sanghyuk to grab him by the wrists and drag him back onto the couch.

The mob boss made quick work of ending the scuffle by gripping Chanhee’s neck and pinching his vagus nerve, the boy slumping over, unconscious.

“Goddamn it, doll…” Sanghyuk rubbed at his temples in frustration, the mob boss sighing at the realization that he’d have to break Chanhee’s mind all over again.

He had managed to make the boy his bunny through two months of training and punishments and constant monitoring and now all of his work was reversed.

He effortlessly picked up the boy and carried him bridal style to his bedroom, the blue space calming the man down a bit. Maybe, once Chanhee woke up, he’d forget all about what happened and see his room, remembering what a good bunny he was and how well Sanghyuk treated him.

He laid Chanhee down and tucked him in, covering him in plushies and soft blankets. In order to make sure Chanhee didn’t try anything when he woke up, Sanghyuk went into the lowest drawer of his nightstand, pulling out two pairs of handcuffs. He didn’t like using them on Chanhee, but they were necessary right now.

Once Chanhee’s wrists were individually cuffed to the poles of the bed frame, Sanghyuk went over to the boy’s vanity, running his hand across the acrylic display of headbands and hair clips. He picked up a frilly, fluffy bunny ear headband, carefully putting it in Chanhee’s hair.

Sanghyuk sighed in relief as Chanhee was finally as he should be. As Sanghyuk’s baby bunny.

Sanghyuk was never going to let him go.

Even if he had to hurt Chanhee to keep it that way.

Notes:

the implied plot in case i was dumb:
