“No, you’re doing it wrong!” Piers scolded the two rookies who had some wooden shapes in their hands. Piers Nivans, [Name] and Finn Macauley were trapped in a roomed decorated as a graveyard. The door was sealed shut. There was no other way but to complete the puzzles. All trapped in one room and separated from the other trio. There was no sign of their captain whatsoever. Whilst it seemed calm, they had a timer ticking away but no sign of how long they had left. All they knew was that they had 60 minutes to escape and not die.
“We’re not doing anything wrong, lieutenant.” [Name] chimed up, holding up the wooden shape, “The shapes will connect together in a way that’ll fit into the thing over there.” They explained, gesturing over to the wall on the left where a small indent was. Piers huffed in annoyance and defeat, glancing around to see if there was anything else he could do to prove them wrong.
So far, the trio had succeeded through the room, completing puzzles, and unlocking even more puzzles. It was clear by the time they had reached this puzzle; it was near the end. Being the impatient person Nivans was, he took the shapes from Finn, who was fumbling around, and aided [name] with creating the indent shape. The two began to fiddle and change the shape. Finn had now preoccupied himself with examining the graves. Eventually, the two managed to fixe the shape causing a small ding to sound out in the room. The two smiled, high fiving the other before Piers gave the order to find whatever they had unlocked . The trio searched high or low for the note or the object.
“I’ve got a key!” Finn called out, sprinting over to the door. The other two followed in suit, watching, and waiting impatiently for him to open the door. The door clicked signalling that it had unlocked. The trio smiled, opening the door, and stumbling out of the room rapidly.
On the other side of the door was their captain, Chris Redfield waiting for them to exit, “You’ve got 30 seconds to spare you three. Good team work.” He congratulated them before hearing his phone’s timer go off. After stopping it, he started the stopwatch. The trio gathered their stuff together waiting for their teammates to finish the escape room.
After about 10 minutes, the other three tumbled out, seeing the four waiting for them. Their expressions dropped knowing they weren’t the first team to complete it, “If this was a mission, you three would be dead. When we get back to base, you’ll give me twenty laps and join an intense training session.” Chris informed them.
