Poems I've written in my spare time and decided I wanted to share them here. The poems are of various themes i.e. positive and negative feelings, how some things might have a darker side to it and that certain things are more than meets the eye.
These are poems I worte myself, please don't repost or steal it. If you want to use it please ask and I'll reply as soon as I can and please give full credits when used. This is my very first time writing and publishing ANYTHING that I wrote myself. But, if it's not too much to ask, I would like to hear your thoughts of the poems. Did it make you think of something? Did it touch a certain feeling? I'm just curious and would love to hear your thoughts on the matter and recieve som feedback. :)
Illuson & Reality
It's so dark and cruel
This world is unbelievabily cruel
Like a mouse caught in a trap
In exchange for the false happiness and safety,
we turn a blind eye to the truth
It's time to wake up
Break the glass ceiling that is trapping us
Face the demons of this world with a heart of a lion, like a King
Be the light to the people
Inspire and fight like a Phoenix
Always ready to rise
Because if you don't rise,
How do you expect to achieve anything?
