The All-Princess Ball is the focal point of Etherian Royal Culture. Whichever kingdom hosts it would spend literal years preparing the greatest food, the most wonderful music for every Princess in the world to enjoy. The anticipation for the event is astronomical!
For Perfuma, it's a chance to meet more people like her. She's been feeling the burnout from protecting Plumeria alone, and desperately needs a night free of drama and chaos. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like her date with Bow will give her the respite she needs.
Glimmer wants to make more friends and prove her value as a Princess. But when Bow and Catra abandon her for people they just met, she feels forced to take drastic measures.
All Catra wants is a good time with all her new friends together, but when her ex-Best Friend from the Horde shows up, she's left flailing for the right thing to do.
And Adora seems to have everything she said she wanted; a Force Captain's badge, a squad under her command, and the praise of her superiors. Why is she risking everything? Is it just to see Catra again-- or does she have a darker agenda?

Adora’s voice comes out broken, instead of angry. “Catra” she whispers, like a plea and a prayer and it makes me so viscerally upset that I can’t help but turn to look at her.
“Hey, Adora,” I drag out cruelly, not an ounce of the affection I used to say it with. I say it empty, like a gunshot. It lands like one. I watch tears well in her eyes and her fists clench at her sides. I want to tell her off, I want to choke down the smell of her sweat, I want to kick her in the ribs, I want her to come back, I want to kill her.
She makes a pathetic attempt at gathering herself. Her dress is red and vibrant and it’s clinging to her and she tugs at it self consciously, like she can feel me thinking about it. They stayed like that. Looking at each other. Catra was ethereal under the flash of lights. Her smile tugged on her lips with as much mischief as gentleness too. Adora was caught off guard.
She’d never seen Catra so soft before. She looked good. Adora admitted she liked seeing Catra relaxed, having a good time.
She then recalled their position and Adora couldn’t help but flash once more. Catra holding her like this had chills running down her spine. But also, she felt flattered. Or more like flustered?
Wait- why would she be flustered? No, Adora wasn’t making any sense. Her brain wasn’t functioning properly.
Catra pulled them upwards. Instead of putting distance however she kept one hand on the blonde’s arm. She gave her infamous laugh. “Oh, man, that was a blast! What do you think, ‘dors?”
Adora tried to speak. She opened her mouth then closed it. She couldn’t put her thoughts in words. Catra laughed again. This time fondly. Adora felt her heart aching.

Princess Awiwa carried on with whatever she was doing; which was pouring vitals into a huge cauldron for no apparent reason apart from scrambling down her findings in an old notebook.
“You may want to try addressing her differently if you want her to respond. She hardly reacts at Awiwa,” the mega pony beside her corrected her. Catra whipped her head to give a scoff at the talking horse.
“Oh, yeah? And like what should I call her? Idiot? Nerve-wracking blonde? All brawn but no brain boulder–”

Catra and Adora prepare for their first Princess Prom that they'll attend as a couple. Of course this is the one Adora dreamed of while she was on the verge of death at the hands of Prime. Catra knows the dream, the beautiful wish, and wants to know, "Is this how you imagined it?" Only time will tell.

Lord Hordak, along with Princess Scorpia and Force Captian Catra, have come to the party to make alliances and find out everything there is to know about their enemies. Careful to not arouse the suspicion of the Princess Alliance.
Princess Entrapta, being the scientist she is, decides to come to the party to decode the secrets of body language, despite getting the same data from every other party she has ever attended.
When the two rulers cross paths, their plans flip on their heads as the two grow closer. Now it is up to Catra and Scorpia to push the two together as Adora and Glimmer stick their noses where they do not belong.
