Summary
When the Fellowship failed and the Ring was taken, Erestor did not expect to make his last stand in the valley of Imladris against a balrog of legend. He did not expect to face the horrors of the First Age while fighting side by side with his friends and the ones he considered family. And when he fell to that same balrog Erestor did not expect to wake up in a place that was impossible, in a time that was impossible, and find that the world as he knew it was completely flipped in this new reality he found himself in.
But when Erestor found a young Elrond and a young Elros in a keep swarming with elves of legend, Erestor knew that there would be no power on Arda or beyond that would be able to tear him away from those children now. Erestor was going to keep what was left of his family safe, no matter what it took. Little did Erestor know that he has not come back alone and that the oath he swore to keep the children safe would change the course of the world he now found himself in forever.

The Noldor have conquered Westeros, and now comes the far more complicated matter of ruling it.
It is, as many would readily agree, rather ill-advised to make your throne entirely out of swords. To the regret of a sizable number of elves, however, hammers would prove not quite equal to the task either.
Rather, it would be by quill and tankard, roads and plow, and the bonds of law and love, that the Seven Kingdoms would finally be made one in truth.
The hammers were still plenty useful, though.

Summary
A few years after the Númenóreans’ invasion of Aman and the natural disaster that followed, the east wing of Olwë’s palace still lies in ruins. At the king’s request, the Noldor send an architect to rebuild it… A truly unexpected architect. For forgiveness can only be found where there has been transgression, and without forgiveness there is no healing.
The story is loosely based on my short story “One Half,” but it can be read on its own. I am working with the version of the fate of Fëanor’s twins recorded in HoME 12, where Amrod is the youngest of seven brothers and perishes on a burning ship in Losgar. Warning: Quenya names.Series

Pár let po invazi Númenorejců do Amanu a přírodní katastrofě, která následovala, východní křídlo Olwëho paláce pořád ještě leží v troskách. Noldor na královu žádost posílají architekta k jeho přestavbě... Opravdu nečekaného architekta. Protože odpuštění lze dojít jenom tam, kde došlo k provinění, a bez odpuštění není uzdravení.
Příběh volně navazuje na mou krátkou povídku Polovina, dá se ale číst samostatně. Pracuji s verzí osudu Fëanorových dvojčat zaznamenanou v HoME 12, kde je Amrod nejmladší ze sedmi bratrů a zahyne na hořící lodi v Losgaru.Series

This is strange because Caranthir doesn't introduce the boy as his to Maedhros. This is strange because Amras didn't even know Caranthir had children. A wife, probably, but a child?
Ultimately, though, Amras doesn't expect to see this nephew much.

In the elder days of Valinor, Fëanor was granted a daughter unlike any other, a child blessed by the light of Eru Ilúvatar himself. Her presence carried beauty and radiance that echoed the lost light of the Two Trees. Giving her the name I Míre Fëanáro (The Jewel of Fëanor) for she was beyond all of Fëanor’s crafts including the Silmarils. Yet her light drew the gaze of Morgoth, who became consumed by desire to possess what he could never create. To him, she was not a child of wonder, but a prize to be claimed, a living reminder of the light he sought to corrupt. Thus began the shadow’s pursuit of The Jewel of Fëanor.

When her beloved eldest brother is kidnapped, she resorts to desperate measures to rescue him and finds herself trapped in a place of darkness and terror- and against all hope, she finds love and joy in the least likely person. They build a life and a family together in a terrible place, and slowly but surely, they change one another.
