Chapter Text

“Shh, Taehyunie, we don’t want Hyeon or Kai to wake up because of how loud you’re being, now do we?”

“N-no-” Taehyun is cut off with a loud moan when Beomgyu hits his prostate right on, and he throws his head back against the pillow underneath his bed, euphoria rushing through him.

“Tsk, seems like you can’t keep quiet,” Beomgyu tsks. They don’t have a gag, so he uses his hand instead. He covers Taehyun’s mouth with it, muffling Taehyun’s moans and whimpers, as he continues abusing his prostate over and over again.

It isn’t long before heat is pooling in Taehyun’s stomach, and with a loud (muffled) moan, white finally shoots out from his dick. The white droplets cover his and Beomgyu’s stomachs, and he pants, feeling tired and fucked out. But Beomgyu is nowhere close and makes Taehyun feel overstimulated as he continues fucking his brains out.

But finally, after a few more minutes, Beomgyu’s thrusts start getting sloppy. Five thrusts later, he groans Taehyun’s name as he cums in him.

The two then just lay there, panting as they come down from their high. Like always, Beomgyu is first, and he slowly pulls out of Taehyun. Once he’s fully pulled out, that makes his cum drip from the bluenette’s hole, dripping onto the bedsheets, and a few droplets rolling down the back of Taehyun’s thighs. Beomgyu lets out a small chuckle at the sight and gets up, heading toward the bathroom to retrieve a warm towel for them.

Whilst Beomgyu cleans Taehyun up, Taehyun still lies there, panting. After two weeks of not seeing each other, it’s obvious why the two finally wanted to be intimate again, especially after what happened last night. It seems like now that they’re finally mated, it makes their lovemaking even more euphoric.

“You ready to-”

Beomgyu is interrupted when there’s a knock at the door.

Smelling Hyeon’s unscented scent, Beomgyu’s eyes widen, and he’s quick to join Taehyun on their bed. Taehyun regains his senses, and he makes sure the bedsheets cover his and Beomgyu’s naked bodies. He tries to pat down his hair, so it won’t seem as messy, but doesn’t worry about the hickies visible. Hyeon is still too young to know what they are, and if he asks, Taehyun can just say they’re mosquito bites.

“C-come in!” Beomgyu allows.

The door opens, revealing a certain seven-year-old, who’s still dressed in his Spider-Man pajamas. His hair is a rat’s nest, which makes his parents know that he barely woke up.

“Morning, daddies!” he greets, walking into their room. Without even a warning, he jumps on their bed, making them both let out a small “oof.”

“Morning, honey,” Taehyun returns with a small giggle, Hyeon smiling at him and Beomgyu sheepishly.

“Why are you up so early, honeybun?” Beomgyu asks as Hyeon crawls in between them.

Hyeon’s smile turns more sheepish. “I got too hungry.”

Taehyun laughs. “Don’t worry, I’m hungry, too.”

Beomgyu raises his eyebrows at him. “Even after-”

“Beomgyu.”

The alpha snickers, whilst Taehyun shakes his head at him, and tries to ignore the heat rushing up his neck. Hyeon watches the exchange between the two and only grows confused.

“What are you-”

“Is Uncle NingNing still asleep?” Beomgyu interrupts.

Hyeon nods, forgetting all about how weird the older two were being at the mention of his favorite uncle. “Yeah. And that's weird because he’s the first to wake up.”

Unlike Hyeon, though, Beomgyu and Taehyun know why Kai is still asleep: he’s hungover. They don’t tell Hyeon, since he’s too young to understand, and instead tell him that San and Wooyoung’s wedding must have really tired him out. Fortunately for them, Hyeon believes them.

“Now, why don’t you go get dressed, hm?” Beomgyu says. “We have a long day ahead of us.”

“We do?” Hyeon is surprised. “I thought you had work, Daddy.” He looks at Taehyun. “And you too, Daddy.”

“We don't have work today, but either way, work days are always long days for us, honey,” he explains. “Just like school days are long days for you, too.”

“Ugh, school is boring,” Hyeon huffs. “I only like going because of Chae.”

“Yes, I know, honeybun,” Beomgyu says since Hyeon makes sure to tell him so every single day. “Still, you should get ready.”

“Okay. But hurry up, daddies,” Hyeon warns with a playful glare. “You two always take forever to hurry up.”

“We promise we’ll try to hurry, honey,” Taehyun says, whilst Beomgyu snickers next to him.

Hyeon nods, and with that, he leaves the older two’s room. Once the door is closed behind him, Beomgyu’s snickers grow louder, and Taehyun nudges him.

“Can you shut up?” Taehyun frowns. “Hyeon is way too young to know what’s going on inside your dirty mind, Beomgyu.”

“And how do you know what’s going on in my mind?”

“Um, because we’re mated now?”

“Yeah, we are, baby!” Beomgyu takes Taehyun by surprise by wrapping his arms around his slim waist and picking him up to throw him on top of him. Taehyun yelps in surprise and barely manages to catch himself by leaning his weight on his hands as they stop on each side of Beomgyu’s head.

“We have to hurry up, Gyu,” Taehyun reminds, looking down at the gorgeous redhead underneath him.

“No, we don’t,” Beomgyu says, tightening his grip around Taehyun’s small waist. “I’m sure Hyeon can wait.”

“Beomgyu-”

“Ugh, you’re such a party pooper,” he frowns playfully, making Taehyun roll his eyes at him. “You’re lucky you’re pretty, though.”

“Shut up, and let’s hurry up,” Taehyun says, nudging Beomgyu’s shoulder to let him go.

“Okay, but after one more kiss.”

“Gyu-”

“Then I won’t let you go.”

Taehyun sighs in defeat. “Fine.”

Beomgyu smiles in triumph, and he brings Taehyun down into a kiss. Taehyun was only expecting a simple peck, but he should’ve known better, especially after knowing how horny Beomgyu can get at random times (and even more especially if they’re both naked). He tightens his grip around Taehyun’s tiny waist and doesn’t let him pull away.

Beomgyu, let me go.

Beomgyu pretends as if he didn’t hear Taehyun’s thought, and flips them over, Taehyun now underneath him. Taehyun subconsciously spreads his legs, so Beomgyu can fit better in between them, and the gesture makes Beomgyu smirk against his lips. He trails his hands lower until they reach Taehyun’s smooth thighs, and he spreads them further before wrapping them around his hips. He leaves his hands on Taehyun's hips as he continues making out with him, their kiss getting heated. Beomgyu enters his tongue in Taehyun’s cavern, and Taehyun moans against his lips as Beomgyu invades his mouth with his tongue.

Fine, but let’s be quick.

Beomgyu smirks and nods once before diving into Taehyun’s neck. He licks, bites, sucks, and kisses every inch of skin he sees, but stops once he arrives at Taehyun’s new mating mark. The skin around it is still a bit red, and Beomgyu runs a finger through it. The feeling makes Taehyun shiver, and looking up at him, Beomgyu sees Taehyun’s eyes glowing a light blue.

“I love you, mate,” Beomgyu says huskily, yet that only manages to make Taehyun giggle. “What’s so funny?”

“‘Mate’ sounds as if you’re Australian or something,” he snickers, and Beomgyu can’t help but laugh, realizing Taehyun is right.

“True, but we’re mates, aren’t we?” Beomgyu chuckles.

Taehyun nods with a small smile, wrapping his arms around Beomgyu’s neck. “And I’m so happy about it, mate.”

Beomgyu laughs. “Now I see what you’re talking about.”

Taehyun laughs this time, and he and Beomgyu break into a fit of giggles. It isn’t until they hear a knock at the door that they remember they’re supposed to be hurrying up, and once they smell Hyeon’s unscented scent, they snicker amongst themselves.

“We’re almost ready, honey!” Taehyun calls out.

“Hurry up then,” Hyeon huffs. “‘M hungry.”

“Try to wake up Uncle NingNing then,” Beomgyu suggests.

“Okay!” Then, they hear Hyeon skipping away.

“You know Hue’s going to kill us for waking him up, right?” Taehyun says.

Beomgyu shrugs. “Oh, well.”

Taehyun giggles. “Okay, get off me. I’m hungry, too.”

“Fine.” Beomgyu sighs in defeat and helps Taehyun get up. Taehyun smiles at him in thanks, but his smile quickly falters when he feels bile rising in his throat. He clamps his hand over his mouth as he gags, and accidentally pushes Beomgyu out of the way as he runs toward the bathroom. He slams the toilet seat up and throws up whatever food he still has in his stomach. He feels a hand rubbing his back seconds later, and another holding back the loose strands of his blue hair.

Taehyun vomits for what feels like hours, and when he finally stops, he pants a bit heavily.

“You okay, Tyun?” Beomgyu asks with a small frown as he flushes the toilet for the omega.

Taehyun nods. With his mating with Beomgyu and everything that happened earlier, he forgot about his pregnancy. He’s still a few weeks along, which unfortunately means he still has to go through morning sickness. When he was staying at Yeonjun’s house, he didn’t have much of a problem hiding it from Soobin and his and Yeonjun’s children, since Yeonjun helped him. But now that he isn’t living with Yeonjun anymore, Taehyun has to keep up the secret on his own.

But then that’s when something hits him. Now that he and Beomgyu are mated and are true mates, that means they can read each other’s thoughts. He looks up at Beomgyu, trying to see if he can find any hint of surprise or disbelief on the older’s face.

Surprisingly, he doesn’t.

“Why are you looking at me like that?” he asks instead. Then, his face pales slightly. “Oh, no. Do you feel like throwing up again?”

“N-no.” Taehyun shakes his head. “Gyu, can you…not hear what I’m thinking?”

“No.” It’s Beomgyu’s turn to look confused. “You’re not thinking about anything.”

“Okay, how about now?” Taehyun starts thinking about how hungry he is, and how he’s suddenly starting to crave mint choco.

“You’re hungry, and you crave…mint choco,” Beomgyu replies, saying the last two words in slight disgust.

“How about now?” Taehyun hesitantly starts thinking about his pregnancy.

“You’re not thinking about anything.”

“What?”

“What?” Beomgyu returns, just as confused.

“N-nothing.” Taehyun gives him a small smile. “I just realized I wasn’t really thinking about anything.”

“Okay…” Beomgyu gives him a weird look, but fortunately shrugs it off. “Anyway, c’mon. Your breath probably stinks, and we need to brush our teeth anyway.”

Taehyun nods and lets Beomgyu help him up. They brush their teeth, yet as they do, Taehyun can’t help but stare at Beomgyu. All he’s thinking about is his pregnancy, but it seems as if the alpha doesn’t even notice. If he did, Taehyun is sure he would’ve turned to him with wide eyes, and be like, “WHAT?!” But no, he’s calm and collected instead, and all it does is confuse Taehyun.

“Hey, do you think we should tell hyungs about us now?” Beomgyu asks as they leave the bathroom.

“I thought you were too scared,” the younger says, a bit teasingly.

“Shut up,” Beomgyu huffs, making Taehyun snicker. “Do you?”

“Um, Yeonjun-hyung already knows,” he finally informs.

Beomgyu’s eyes widen. “You told him?”

“No,” Taehyun assures. “Apparently, to him and Hue, we were being too obvious yesterday.”

“Huh, I guess we were,” Beomgyu says as he thinks about it. “But still, I want to explain to them why we broke up. I don’t want hyungs to stay mad at me forever.”

“We can also tell them we’re mated now,” Taehyun suggests.

“Ooh, that, too!” Beomgyu agrees excitedly, making Taehyun giggle.

Since they are still naked, the two dress in something simple before leaving their bedroom. They interlock their fingers as they walk down the stairs and are surprised to hear Hyeon and Kai talking in the kitchen.

“Hue’s awake?” Taehyun says in surprise.

“I think so,” Beomgyu mutters, just as surprised.

They walk into the kitchen, where they indeed see Hyeon and Kai. The youngest alpha seems as if his head isn’t pounding horribly, talking and giggling with Hyeon, as he makes breakfast. Beomgyu and Taehyun are surprised to see him like this, since whenever Kai is hungover, he acts like a zombie, and locks himself up in a room until he feels better (which isn’t until hours later).

“Daddies!” Hyeon is the first to notice them. “You’re finally here!”

“Took you guys long enough,” Kai says in slight amusement. He looks at them, only for the spatula to fall from his hands once he notices their necks.

“Uncle-”

“YOU GUYS ARE MATED?!”

Yup, he’s definitely not hungover anymore, Taehyun thinks, and Beomgyu nods in agreement.

Kai’s outburst seems to have gotten Hyeon’s attention since he also turns to the oldest two with wide eyes.

“Daddies, are you true mates?” he asks.

Beomgyu smiles softly and gives Taehyun’s hand a small squeeze as he turns to look at him. “We are.”

Kai squeals. “Oh my god!”

“You owe me an ice cream, Uncle NingNing,” Hyeon snickers.

“Whatever,” Kai grumbles.

“You guys made a bet?” Taehyun questions, catching on to the younger two’s conversation.

“No…” Hyeon replies sheepishly.

“We did,” Kai sighs, making Hyeon whine at him. “We knew you guys were going to get mated sooner or later, so Hyeon and I made a bet: I bet that you guys would get mated after his eighth birthday, and he bet that you guys would before.”

“And you guys bet on ice cream?” Beomgyu says.

“Ice cream’s the best,” Hyeon says as if it isn’t obvious.

“Oh my god, but how did you guys get mated?” Kai asks, returning to their original subject. “When?”

“Last night,” Taehyun replies with a soft smile. “We agreed that we were both in too much pain when we were broken up, and getting mated is the only guarantee we had that we’d never get separated again.”

“So we did it,” Beomgyu continues. “And we turned out to be true mates.”

“Oh, I’m so happy for you guys!” Kai takes the oldest two by surprise by hugging them. Beomgyu and Taehyun hug him back as they get over their slight shock, and as they pull away, they aren’t surprised when they hear Kai sniffle.

“Are you crying?” Taehyun questions with a small chuckle.

“Happy tears,” Kai assures, one rolling down his cheek. “We have to have a party for this!”

“A party isn’t necessary, Kai,” Beomgyu says, giving him a look. The pinkette huffs in defeat and grumbles something about Beomgyu being a party pooper. Beomgyu rolls his eyes at him, but that’s when he remembers something. “But I think we should tell Soobin and Yeonjun hyungs to come over.”

“We should!” Kai agrees. But then he falters. “Wait. Are you sure? ‘Cause I’m pretty sure Yeonjun-hyung wants to beat your ass.”

“I’m sure,” Beomgyu says. “I…I need to explain to you guys why Tyun and I broke up.”

“Oh my god, really?” For once, Kai isn’t being playful, and he looks genuinely surprised.

Beomgyu looks at Taehyun, and the younger one nods back at him. “Really. You guys deserve an explanation. Plus, I don’t really want Yeonjun-hyung to be mad at me any longer.”

“Does that mean Chae’s coming, too?” Hyeon inquires excitedly.

“Yes, Chae’s coming, too,” Beomgyu confirms, making Hyeon squeal.

“Anyway, I’m starving,” Taehyun says, changing the subject. “Please tell me you’re making something, Hue.”

“I’m making waffles,” he assures.

“Thank god,” Taehyun sighs in relief, and the rest laugh at him as they walk toward the kitchen.

It isn’t until an hour later that Beomgyu, Taehyun, Kai, and Hyeon are finally cleaning up. Whilst they were eating breakfast, Taehyun called Yeonjun to ask if they could come over. At first, Yeonjun was reluctant to agree, saying that the second he'd see Beomgyu, he’d drop-kick him before Beomgyu could even blink, but Taehyun convinced him not to. He also managed to persuade Yeonjun to come over, and when Yeonjun asked why, Taehyun just said that he’d see. Yeonjun was still reluctant, but he eventually agreed, much to Taehyun’s relief. He assured that they’d be there in an hour and a half before he ended their call.

Hence, the four are cleaning.

“You nervous?” Taehyun asks Beomgyu whilst they wash the dishes.

“A-a little,” he admits.

“Why?”

“What if hyungs don’t believe me? You know how Yeonjun-hyung is. I’m scared he’s going to drop-kick me the second he gets the chance.”

“Gyu, they’re still your best friends,” Taehyun reminds, which makes Beomgyu give him a look. “Don’t look at me that way, ‘cause we both know I’m right. They might be mad at you, but you did, after all, break my heart. But I forgave you, and so will they. Especially after they hear why you broke up with me.”

“Fine.” Beomgyu sighs in defeat. “But if things take a turn for the worse, you’re paying for my funeral, and I’m blaming it on you.”

“Sure,” Taehyun giggles, and Beomgyu gives him another look.

He and Taehyun finish washing the dishes, just in time for Hyeon and Kai to complete their cleaning as well. Just as they do, they hear the doorbell ring and two familiar scents come to their noses.

“They’re here,” Kai says.

“Chae!” Hyeon squeals. He doesn’t wait for the older three to react, already running toward the front door to open it. He squeals Chaeyeong’s name again, just as Chaeyeong squeals his, and the two jump excitedly. Without even needing Hyeon to invite her in, Chaeyeong runs inside the house, and Hyeon grabs her hand to lead her toward the living room, where he already has Legos set up for them to piece together.

That leaves the others, and Taehyun is next to walk toward the front door, Kai trailing behind him. When they arrive, they see Soobin and Yeonjun, the alpha pushing a stroller that holds a sleeping three-month-old Yeonsoo.

“Hi, hyungs.” Taehyun smiles at them, a bit nervously.

“Hi, Tae,” Soobin returns with a small smile. He lets out soothing pheromones to try to assure the bluenette that everything’s going to be okay. But they only help a bit. “Can we come in?”

“Of course,” Taehyun allows. He and Kai step to the side, so the older two and Yeonsoo can come in. Soobin lets Yeonjun walk first, before he walks after him, pushing in Yeonsoo’s stroller. Kai closes the door behind them, and they lead them toward the living room.

They arrive seconds later, and once they do, they see Beomgyu standing there. He’s fidgeting with his fingers, and he has a nervous smile on his face. Taehyun doesn’t fail to notice how nervous he is and lets out soothing pheromones to help him calm down. They help, and Beomgyu stops fidgeting with his fingers.

“H-hi, hyungs,” he greets, a bit hesitantly.

“Hi, Beomgyu,” Soobin returns, a bit curtly.

Beomgyu hesitantly looks at Yeonjun, and the ginger-haired male is just looking at him with a small glare. Although it isn’t that cold, it still manages to send a small chill down Beomgyu’s spine, and he gulps as he somehow manages to maintain eye contact with Yeonjun.

“Tae, what are we doing here?” Fortunately, the oldest breaks eye contact to turn to Taehyun, raising an eyebrow at him slightly.

“G-Gyu and I want to explain why we…broke up,” he replies.

“We already have an explanation,” Yeonjun says. “Beomgyu decided to be an asshole and not love you anymore, even after everything you told him about Chinhae. What other explanation do we need, other than Beomgyu just being your casual alpha dickhead?”

“Hyung.” Taehyun gives him a look.

“Fine.” Yeonjun sighs in defeat, and he sits down next to Soobin on the couch.

“Thank you,” Taehyun mutters in relief. He joins Beomgyu’s side, whilst Kai sits down next to Yeonjun. That leaves Beomgyu and Taehyun standing, so they sit down on the loveseat across from the couch that the other three are sitting on.

“To start, I really am sorry I broke Taehyun’s heart,” Beomgyu says. “But I didn’t want to, and I didn’t want to break up with him, either.”

“Then why did you?” Yeonjun scowls.

“Because…” Beomgyu looks at Taehyun, and he nods in assurance, squeezing his hand. “Um, I think this’ll all make sense if I finally tell you guys”—he looks at Soobin and Yeonjun—“what happened between my…ex and me.”

“Your ex, as in…Hyeon’s mom?” Soobin asks, just to make sure.

Beomgyu nods. “Yeah…”

“Um, I think it’s best if Hyeon’s not here,” Kai says. “I don’t think he’s ready to hear what you have to say about his mom.”

Beomgyu nods in agreement. Kai then turns to the oldest two and asks them if he can take Chaeyeong as well, which they, fortunately, agree to. Kai smiles at them in thanks and gets up to grab Hyeon and Chaeyeong. He calls out, “Who’s up for some ice cream!?” The kids, not used to being able to eat ice cream in the morning, excitedly reply that they are, and Kai leads them out of the house with Beomgyu’s car keys in hand. The door closes behind them, and that leaves Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, and Taehyun alone (as well as yeonsoo).

Beomgyu takes another deep breath before he starts explaining. He doesn’t want to make the story too long, so he doesn’t start from the beginning, unlike what he did with Taehyun. Instead, he begins with how he and Sarang finally got together after years of him pining after her, and how they were so in love with each other. He continues, and now that he’s mated to Taehyun, explaining what happened doesn’t hurt him as much as it used to.

“Wow, she really is a bitch,” is the first thing Yeonjun says once Beomgyu finishes.

“What type of mother would leave their child on their first birthday?” Soobin adds.

“A shitty mother,” Taehyun replies, and Yeonjun nods in agreement.

Beomgyu lets out a small chuckle at their remarks before he explains to them what happened between him and Sarang the other day. He finally explains that Sarang was the one who made him break up with Taehyun, and threatened that if he didn’t break up with the omega, she’d "ruin" his life. Beomgyu didn’t want Taehyun’s life to be ruined, let alone be the cause of it, so he broke up with him, breaking his and the younger’s hearts in the process.

“S-so I was lying when I said I didn’t love Taehyun anymore,” Beomgyu continues. “Of course I do, and I’ll never stop loving him. He’s the love of my life, and my…true mate.”

“Y-you guys got mated?” Yeonjun says, his eyes growing wide.

Taehyun nods with a small smile. “We decided to last night.”

“We all knew you two were true mates,” Soobin says with a smile. “I’m so happy for you guys.”

“Thanks, hyung.” Beomgyu smiles back at him. “Anyway, at San and Wooyoung hyungs’ wedding, I realized that Sarang never specified for how long I had to stay broken up with Taehyun, and neither did she say that I couldn’t tell him what happened. So I explained everything to him, and we got back together.”

“So you’re really not an asshole?” Yeonjun asks.

“I’m an asshole for breaking Taehyun’s heart,” Beomgyu replies pointedly. “But I didn’t want to.”

“This Sarang bitch really needs to get medical attention,” Soobin scoffs. “She leaves you and your guys’ son, and suddenly comes back six years later, only to threaten you to leave the love of your life? Like, the fuck? That makes no sense.”

“Exactly,” Yeonjun agrees. “If that bitch wanted to be gone, then she should be gone.”

“That’s what I told her,” Beomgyu says with a small sigh. “But she told me she didn’t want to be gone anymore.”

“Such bullshit,” Yeonjun scoffs. “If I ever see her, I’ll drop-kick her ass before she can even blink.”

“I’m with you, hyung,” Taehyun says, and he and Yeonjun high-five.

“Wait, there’s one thing I don’t get, though,” Soobin says.

“What, hyung?” Beomgyu questions.

“Sarang was making you ruin Tae’s life anyway by making you break up with him,” Soobin says, “so what was the point of her making you break up with him?”

Beomgyu sighs. “She thought that Tyun’s only source of happiness came from his job since it's the most competitive fashion company in the world. So she told me that if I didn’t break up with him, she’d make him get fired.”

“How would she even be able to do that?” Yeonjun inquires with a small scoff.

“She got remarried,” Beomgyu answers, much to the oldest two’s surprise. “And her new husband’s uncle is the CEO of your guys’ company, and according to her, he loves her so much that he’ll do anything for her. So just one phone call from her can get Tyun fired.”

“Well, if Tae gets fired, then I’ll quit,” Yeonjun says with a small huff, crossing his arms.

“Hyung-”

“We made a pact, Taehyun,” Yeonjun reminds. “And I’m staying true to that pact.”

“But hyung, the job is your dream,” Taehyun says vehemently. “It’s been your dream ever since you were five years old. You can’t throw it all away just because I'll probably get fired.”

“I can, and I will,” Yeonjun says sternly. “You’re my best friend, Tae, and yes, the job is my dream, but working with you has been my dream for even longer. So, if you get fired, I’m quitting.”

“You two are going to get to keep your jobs,” Soobin says, waving them off.

“How?” Taehyun asks.

“The company is nothing without Jun,” Soobin states. “Even if they don’t want to admit it. They were in shambles when your guys’ last boss quit, but once Jun became the new boss, everything became stable. So trust me when I say that if Jun quits, the company will just come tumbling down.”

“I’m not saying you’re wrong, Bin,” Yeonjun says, “but the company itself is pretty powerful. Even if they’ll be in ‘shambles’ again if I quit, I’m pretty sure they’ll be able to get back on their feet.”

“Say they do,” Beomgyu says, “where would you guys work now?”

“I’ve always been into dance,” Yeonjun informs. “Maybe I can go back to that.”

“And I’ve always been into cooking,” Taehyun adds.

“So we’ll be fine,” Yeonjun assures. “But let’s still hope that bitch doesn’t try to come in between you guys again.”

“Is that one of the reasons why you guys got mated?” Soobin questions.

“Yeah,” Beomgyu confirms. “We knew it was the only guarantee that we’d always stay together, regardless of anything or anyone.”

“I’m so happy for you guys,” Yeonjun says with a soft smile. “Really.”

“Thanks, hyung.” Taehyun smiles back at him.

“So, when’s the wedding?” Soobin asks playfully, making Yeonjun chuckle at him.

“H-hyung, we barely got mated last night,” Beomgyu says, trying to ignore how hot his face is getting. “We’ll worry about getting married later.”

Soobin snickers. “If you say so.”

“I’m hungry,” Taehyun announces abruptly.

“You are?” Beomgyu’s eyes widen slightly. “We barely ate, like, two hours ago, Tyun.”

“I know, but the b-” The youngest’s eyes widen, and he’s relieved he managed to shut up in time. “I-I mean…uh, I don’t know. I’m just hungry. So I’ma go to the kitchen. Bye.” He’s then quick to leave the living room to head to the kitchen, leaving the older three confused.

But, unlike the two alphas, Yeonjun knows what this is about. He stands up and follows Taehyun to the kitchen. Once he arrives, he sees Taehyun shaking his head at himself as he opens the fridge.

“Tae, please tell me you’re not acting like this because of what I’m thinking,” Yeonjun says.

“What?” Taehyun feigns confusion as he looks at Yeonjun, closing the fridge.

Almost immediately, Yeonjun’s worries are confirmed. He lowers his voice to say, “You still haven’t told Beomgyu about the pregnancy?”

“No.” Taehyun sighs.

“Why not?” Yeonjun questions, a bit exasperated. “You’re almost a month along, Tae! He deserves to know. Especially before you start showing.”

If I even get there,” Taehyun mutters, and Yeonjun gives him a look. “What? We both know how weak my uterus is, hyung. W-who knows if it’ll even manage to hold the baby for another week.”

“You’ve been saying that ever since you found out,” Yeonjun says pointedly. “And look, you’re almost a month along, Tae. You gotta have hope in yourself. If your uterus has been holding the baby for this long, I’m sure it can hold it for another eight months.”

“But what if it doesn’t?” Taehyun frowns. “I-I don’t want to have a miscarriage, hyung.”

“You won’t,” Yeonjun assures, placing his hands on Taehyun’s shoulders. “Is this why you haven’t told Beomgyu?”

Taehyun nods, and a tear falls from his eye. “I’m scared that I’ll get his hopes up, only for me to have a miscarriage. I-I already told him I can’t get pregnant, and I don’t want to give him false hope again.”

“You won’t be,” Yeonjun says. “Tae, you’re literally growing a baby inside of you right now. Yours and Beomgyu’s baby. As the father, he deserves to know. And god forbid if you do have a miscarriage”—he knocks on the wood countertop, just in case—“Beomgyu still deserves to know. It’s his baby, too, and as your boyfriend and true mate, he’ll have to go through this pain with you. Besides, can’t he read it from your thoughts?”

Taehyun shakes his head. “No.”

Yeonjun’s eyes widen. “Really?”

Taehyun nods. “Yeah. I tried twice to see if he could, and both times he said I wasn’t thinking about anything.”

“Maybe he was just lying.”

Taehyun shakes his head. “No. We both know how Gyu is, hyung.”

“Oh, I think I know what it is then,” Yeonjun says once he realizes something. “Your omega’s hiding it from his alpha. If his alpha doesn’t know, then neither will Beomgyu.”

“But why is my omega hiding it?” Taehyun asks (but he isn’t complaining).

“Because he knows you don’t want Beomgyu or his alpha to know yet,” Yeonjun explains. “Once you’re with your true mate, your omega will hide stuff you truly don’t want your mate to know until you’re ready. Mine did the same when I was nervous about telling Bin about my pregnancy with Chae and Soo.”

“That’s…kinda cool,” Taehyun says, and Yeonjun nods in agreement.

“But this doesn’t mean you shouldn’t tell Beomgyu,” he says pointedly. “You have to tell him, Tae.”

“I-I know,” he says. “I just don’t know how.”

“Just tell him,” Yeonjun suggests. “Spit it out. Tell him, ‘I’m pregnant.’ Short and simple.”

“Do you really think he’ll believe me?”

Yeonjun shrugs. “You won’t know unless you try.”

Taehyun sighs. “O-okay. I’ll tell him.”

“Good!” Yeonjun says happily. “Tonight?”

“Uh…yeah,” Taehyun lies with a small smile.

Unfortunately for him, though, Yeonjun can see right through him. “Taehyun…”

“I-I’ll try,” he says, and he’s not lying this time. “But no promises, hyung.”

“Fine.” Yeonjun sighs in defeat. “Just promise you’ll tell him before you start showing?”

“I promise.” But Taehyun isn’t sure if he’s going to keep it.

Kai and the kids return half an hour later. Without even having to talk about it, the eight agree to continue staying at Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hyeon’s house for the rest of the day.

When it’s time for dinner, they agree on pizza. They—mainly the kids—don’t want to wait for the delivery person, since they always take forever to arrive, so they agree to pick up the pizzas instead. They all agree to go—well, everyone except Yeonjun, since he decides to stay home with Yeonsoo, and Beomgyu, since he wants to talk to Yeonjun. The others leave after saying their goodbyes, and once the door closes behind them, the omega and Beomgyu are finally left alone.

“Can you believe she’s three months old already?” Yeonjun says, smiling at his baby girl, who’s on his lap.

“No,” Beomgyu replies, smiling at Yeonsoo as well. “Seems like just yesterday you told Kai and me you were pregnant.”

“She’s growing,” Yeonjun says. “Before I know it, she’s going to be graduating kindergarten, too, and about to start third grade. Both of my little girls are growing so fast.”

“Ugh, my little boy is growing, too,” Beomgyu says with a small frown.

“Don’t you wish they’d stay babies forever?” Yeonjun frowns.

“Every day, hyung,” Beomgyu sighs. “Are you and Soobin-hyung going to have more babies? Or is Yeonsoo the last one?”

“We don’t know yet,” Yeonjun answers. “We love being parents, but kids are a lot of work.”

“They are,” Beomgyu agrees. “Especially when they’re toddlers. Ugh, I remember coming home from work one day, and seeing that Hyeon had drawn all over the walls in permanent marker.”

These walls?” Yeonjun motions around them with a small chuckle.

“No,” Beomgyu says with a small smile. “Back in our old apartment.”

“The one you shared with…?”

Beomgyu sighs. “We moved out when Hyeon was two. I didn’t want to, but my parents and Kai convinced me, saying that it’d be a start for me to move on from her. Back then, I obviously didn’t agree, but I knew it was the best for Hyeon. Fortunately, my parents bought us this house, and we’ve lived here ever since.”

“What about the marker on the walls?”

“Kai and I painted over them.”

Yeonjun chuckles. “Hyeon was a troublemaker when he was a toddler, then.”

“Definitely,” Beomgyu confirms with a small scoff. “I couldn’t even have my back facing him, or else who’d know what he would do.”

“Chae was the same,” Yeonjun chuckles. “My mom used to babysit her, since Bin and I always had work, and when we’d get home, she’d rant our ears off about how much trouble Chae had caused her. She wasn’t that mad, ‘cause duh, Chae’s her first and back then only grandchild, but still. If you add the stress we were under because of the work, plus the stress toddler Chae gave us, I’m surprised we still don’t have any grey hairs.”

“Hm, I’m not so sure about that,” Beomgyu muses playfully as he looks at Yeonjun’s ginger hair. “I think I can see a few white hairs.”

“Shut up.” Yeonjun nudges him, and Beomgyu laughs.

“You should hope that this little one doesn’t cause you as much trouble then,” he says, smiling down at Yeonsoo as he gently tickles underneath her small chin. “Because who knows how many white hairs you’ll sprout.”

“Ugh, I hope she won’t,” Yeonjun groans. “She’s already a lot of work as a baby. The last time Bin and I had a full eight hours of sleep was back when I was eight months pregnant. This little one hasn’t let us have a good sleep ever since. So, if she ever gives me attitude when she’s older, I’m going to tell her that they put a tube in my back, put me on a lot of meds, and I spent almost twelve hours in labor because of her, so she better zip it.”

Beomgyu chuckles. “But despite how much work they are, we still love our kids.”

“That we do.” Yeonjun nods in agreement, and he smiles down at his daughter. She smiles back, cooing as she squirms slightly. That makes Yeonjun and Beomgyu coo, and Beomgyu takes his phone out to take a picture of Yeonsoo smiling.

“By the way, hyung, I really am sorry about everything that happened with Taehyun,” Beomgyu says, abruptly changing the subject. “Although I was forced to, I still broke his heart, and you had—still have—every right to be mad at me.”

“I’m sorry, too, Beomgyu,” Yeonjun apologizes with a sigh. “How I treated you wasn’t fair.”

“You were just being protective.” Beomgyu tries to wave him off. “It’s okay.”

“It’s not.” Yeonjun shakes his head, not letting him. “The things I said to you weren’t. You’re still one of my best friends, and I love you a whole bunch. You make Tae happy, the happiest I’ve ever seen him, and for that, I owe you a lot. You make my best friend happy, and I couldn’t ask for anything else from you. And I know you love him a lot. You even proved that by letting him go when you thought you’d be ruining his life if you didn’t. So I’m sorry about what I said. I could’ve still been mad at you, but been less cruel.”

“Aw, you love me, hyungie?” Beomgyu coos, making Yeonjun roll his eyes at him.

“No,” Yeonjun huffs.

Beomgyu laughs and wraps his arm around Yeonjun’s shoulder, snuggling closer to him. “I love you, too, hyung.”

“Yeah, but if you dare break my best friend’s heart again, I’m going to cut off your balls and feed them to you,” he threatens. “Am I clear, Choi?”

“C-crystal,” he replies, gulping.

“We’re back!” Soobin calls out as the front door opens, almost thirty minutes later, he and the rest appearing.

“About time,” Yeonjun grumbles. “You guys took forever.”

“There were a lot of people,” Taehyun explains.

“What pizzas did you guys get?” Beomgyu asks as he and Yeonjun follow the rest to the kitchen.

“Pepperoni, cheese, and Hawaiian for me,” Kai replies proudly.

“Daddy, is pineapple on pizza nasty?” Hyeon says as they all sit down around the dinner table.

“No.” Taehyun.
“Maybe.” Beomgyu.

“You won’t know unless you try, honey,” Taehyun says pointedly, and Hyeon nods, knowing he has a point.

Soobin and Beomgyu set out the plates and cups since the others also brought a few sodas. They help themselves to their own slices and cups of soda before finally sitting down to start eating.

Yet, before they can, a phone starts ringing.

“Whose phone is that?” Yeonjun questions.

“Mine,” Taehyun answers. He takes his phone out of his pocket and checks the caller ID to see who’s calling him: Unknown.

“Who is it, Taehyun-ah?” Chaeyeong says, wondering who’s calling him.

“I don’t know,” he mutters. He excuses himself from the dining room, and once he’s back in the kitchen, he answers the call. “Hello?”

“Hello, is this Kang Taehyun?”

Not recognizing the voice of the person on the other line, the bluenette immediately gets defensive. “Who would like to know?”

“I’m Kim Hajoon.” Almost immediately, Taehyun recognizes that name, which makes his blood turn slightly cold. “A.K.A. the CEO of KCanel’s.”

“O-oh.” Taehyun gulps, reminding himself that this is his boss. “Uh, yes, this is Kang Taehyun. How may I…help you, sir?”

“You can’t. Well, not anymore.”

Taehyun has a hunch about what Mr. Kim is trying to say, but he still asks, “What do you mean, sir?”

“I regret to inform you that you are fired from KCanel’s. You have been removed from this program, and your name has been blacklisted from every other fashion company in Korea.”

Taehyun scoffs. “What?”

“Do I need to repeat myself, Mr. Kang?”

“What do you mean I’ve been blacklisted?” he says in disbelief. “I've never done anything wrong.”

“That’s what you think,” Mr. Kim says, and Taehyun is this close to punching him through the phone. “Anyway, your stuff will be mailed to you in 3-5 business days. Thank you for your work and dedication in KCanel’s.” With that, he ends the call, leaving Taehyun there flabbergasted.

Somehow, Taehyun regains his senses after a few seconds of just standing there, and he walks back to the dining room. The others stop talking once they notice he’s back, yet they start growing confused and concerned when they see the look on his face.

“Tyun?” Beomgyu calls out. “You okay?”

“What’s wrong?” Kai adds.

“Th-the CEO of KCanel’s just called me,” Taehyun says once he finally finds his voice. “I’m fired.”

“You’re fired?!” Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, and Kai exclaim in unison, unable to believe their ears.

“How did that bitch even find out?” Beomgyu mutters, too focused on Taehyun being fired to watch his language.

“The CEO personally called you?” Soobin says, his eyebrows furrowed slightly.

Taehyun nods. “H-he also said my name has been blacklisted from every other fashion company in Korea.”

“That bastard,” Yeonjun scowls. “You never did anything wrong.”

Kai shakes his head. “This is all Sarang’s fault.”

“How did she even find out?” Beomgyu says again.

“I think one of her workers was invited to the wedding,” Soobin says.

“But technically, I didn’t break her rules,” Beomgyu says. “So, if anything, it’s on her for not being specific.”

“Daddy, what’s going on?” Hyeon asks, he and Chaeyeong looking confused.

“Just something to do with your daddy’s work, Yeon.” Soobin gives him a small smile. The little boy and Chaeyeong look at each other, not seeming like they believe Soobin. But then, they shrug it off and continue eating, whilst they watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on the second oldest’s phone.

“It’s always bitches like her.” Yeonjun shakes his head. She turns to Beomgyu. “Is she on social media?”

“Not that I know of,” he replies.

“Damn it,” Yeonjun curses. “That means I can’t go all FBI on her pathetic ass.”

“What are you going to do?” Kai asks Taehyun, looking at him with a small frown.

“I…don’t know,” he sighs as he sits back down next to Hyeon. “I think I have to find a new job now.”

“Me too then,” Yeonjun sighs.

“Hyung-”

“We made a pact, Tae,” Yeonjun reminds. “Besides, they can’t fire my best friend for no reason and expect me not to quit. I’m quitting, whether anyone likes it or not.”

“Yeah, you are!” Soobin high-fives Yeonjun, making his husband giggle.

“So see, even if that bitch tries to ruin your guys’ lives, she’ll never succeed,” he says, looking back at Beomgyu and Taehyun. “Because you guys always get back up, and never let her get to you. Hell, she couldn’t even keep you two apart for a month. So let her bring it on. What’s the worst she can do?”

“Hyung, things always go bad whenever people say that,” Kai says, a bit warily. “I think you just jinxed Beomgyu-hyung and Tae.”

“Please.” Yeonjun waves him off. “Everything’s going to be okay. Besides, Sarang is a little shit who doesn’t know how to mind her own business. I’m going to call KCanel’s, and I’m quitting right now.”

Before anyone else can say anything, Yeonjun takes his phone out and leaves the room as he starts talking on the phone.

“Guess I’m going to be a chef now,” Taehyun says with a smile. “Kinda didn’t see this coming, but I’m not complaining.”

“You sure you’re okay with this?” Beomgyu questions.

Taehyun nods. “I’m sure. Besides, like Yeonjun-hyung said, what’s the worst Sarang can do?”
